Aromatic Scent: A medium strength middle-top note. Earthy, herbaceous, medicinal, pungent, slightly camphoraceous, slightly spicy, slightly sweet, warm, woody.

This oil is not safe for children.

Add a maximum of 1 drop (0.05 mL) to 15 mL of carrier oil (or 0.4%) for topical applications.
Sage supports the 2nd, 3rd, and 7th chakras.
Tisserand & Young have shown that Sage essential oil is neurotoxic in high doses and concentrations, is non-irritating and non-sensitizing. Sage oil is contraindicated through all routes when pregnant or breastfeeding. [1]
Avoid Sage oil if you suffer from epilepsy or high blood pressure.
Below are some possible drug interactions for Sage. Check with your healthcare provider before using Sage essential oil if you are currently taking prescription medication.
Minor interaction:
- Chloral Hydrate (Somnote)
- Hexobarbitol/Hexobarbitone (Citopan, Evipan, Tobinal)
We do not recommend topical use in concentrations above 0.4%
Sage is non-estrogenic, contrary to some sources.
This oil is not safe for children.
This oil should not be taken in oral doses.
Avoid when pregnant and breastfeeding.
